Admissions 101 - Visit
If a picture is worth a thousand words, a visit is worth a million, at least. We could write a million words about why UMaine is so great, but we think you’d enjoy it more if you see it for yourself. When you come to UMaine, you’ll be able to meet our students, get to know world-class faculty members and experience campus living firsthand.
You’ll also get to experience Orono, a classic college town bounded by the Stillwater and Penobscot Rivers. We’re located just north of Bangor, a city consistently ranked as one of the most desirable places to live for its natural beauty, safety, quality of life and affordability. The ocean, mountains and lakes are all within an hour’s drive.
